Dime a Dozen: Snow Depth Widget
Ideas are plentiful and can only be improved by sharing. My Dime a Dozen posts lay out a simple idea for an app on android for absolutely free. After all, the value lies in the implementation of the idea.
Winter is upon us, and I’ve been thinking of a widget I’d like on my phone. It simply lists the current temperature, conditions and snow-depth at my favourite slope or winter retreat. When you set it up it asks what location you’d like it to display, and that’s it.
The widget should update daily with the current conditions, and allow you to change the location (pick on a map, or search for a name).
That’s it! Short, sweet and simple.
